Steven M. Malek

Attorney at Law

Steve Malek has practiced law for more than 23 years.  For the last eight years he has exclusively practiced in the area of plaintiff’s personal injury law.  After graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto in 1982, Mr. Malek practiced as a barrister before the Canadian courts in Ontario and Quebec, including appearances as counsel before the Supreme Court of Canada.  He honed his trial practice and advocacy skills in personal injury and criminal defense cases, as well as in representing physicians in disciplinary matters.  Since establishing his practice in Seattle in 1999, Mr. Malek has focused his entire attention on personal injury litigation in order to provide individuals who have been injured through the fault of others with exceptional legal representation that never loses sight of the priorities and needs of the individual client.

Mr. Malek is dedicated to the preservation of the rights of all injured persons in Washington State and he is an Eagle member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association and the national trial lawyers’ organization, the American Association for Justice.  He is also a member of the Northwest group of the Trial Lawyers College. He works aggressively and passionately to obtain full compensation for injured persons and from the moment the client chooses to retain the Firm and we accept the engagement, the client’s case is developed with a view that it will go to trial.  Our case management procedures are designed to ensure that the case is as fully developed as possible and that the client is kept fully informed each step along the way. This attention to detail and thorough preparation only serve to enhance our ability to obtain great results, whether by settlement, arbitration or trial.

Steve and his wife live on Mercer Island. They have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. An avid golfer and sports enthusiast, after his family he devotes his spare time to those activities and coaching local youth teams.
